Transforming Campus Ministries' mission is...
...to help you make Christ-followers, a.k.a. disciples, persons whose lives are transformed and, as such, obediently seek to follow Jesus and reflect him 24/7, not just for an hour or two once a week.
We will faithfully and fruitfully fulfill our God-given mission by these values:
· We value the Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)
· We value Jesus Christ as the cornerstone in whom the entire Christian Church is joined together (Ephesians 2:19-21)
· We value and will act with honesty, integrity, and openness in all circumstances
· We value and will always act in the best interests of college students and the ministries that serve them
· We value excellence and will strive for the highest level attainable in all we do
· We value and will implement strategies that will equip ministries to flourish and train them to assist other ministries do the same, thereby multiplying our investment in them by increasing their fruitfulness and avoiding unhealthy dependence
· We value our supporters and will ask for their support with the utmost adherence to the highest legal and moral standards
· We value financial integrity and will demonstrate it by openly and regularly reporting our financial information
· We value accountability and repentance and, as imperfect but redeemed persons, we will take responsibility for our words and deeds and seek forgiveness when we fall short
· We value consensus and the healthy diversity of viewpoints that is often needed to achieve it and the many and various spiritual gifts that are needed to fulfill it
· We value and will partner with others who share our values, mission, and vision
· We value campus ministries, congregations, and other local ministries and will never seek to usurp what God is calling and gifting them to do
· We value the ongoing spiritual growth of Christ-followers and we will continually seek to provide resources that facilitate it
· We value and respect campus ministry leaders, especially new leaders, and we will continually strive to encourage and equip them
· We value servant leadership, which means we will identify, recruit, train, empower, encourage, resource, and appropriately praise when warranted our paid and volunteer staff, and encourage and equip those whom we are privileged to serve to do likewise
· We value all Christ-followers, especially new Christ-followers whose salvation results in joy in heaven and rejoicing on earth (Luke 15:4-7)
